BTC Watermelon Growing Project

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline Company (BTC Co.), which is operated by BP, is realizing significant initiatives in the field of social responsibility with the awareness of the responsibility it shoulders. Encore İletişim Danışmanlık shares BTC Co.’s responsibility in conducting the communication activities of additional investment programs such as Social Investment Program, Environmental Investment Program, and Regional Development Initiative. With the “Watermelon Growing Project” accomplished by BTC Co. within the framework of the Social Investment Program with the cooperation of Küçük Destek Fonu and Atatürk University, watermelons were successfully grown and harvested in Erzurum, which has a very cold climate, for the first time. The said “last harvest watermelons” of our country were served in elegant packages to the press members with whom BTC Co. has close relationships. It made an overwhelming impression in social media especially by journalists.
