KPMG Turkey “Creating Difference- Transformation of Istanbul into a Regional Finance Center” Meeting

KPMG Turkey that provides more than 1500 companies with services in terms of Audit, Tax, and Consultancy areas held a meeting between the dates of 22 and 24 October 2013 in Istanbul, entitled “Creating Difference- Transformation of Istanbul into a Regional Finance Center.” In the meeting where experts of KPMG EMA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and KPMG Turkey Financial Services department would exchange their views, participation was at the level of the directors general of Turkey’s leading banking institutions and the top level names of the Turkish finance sector. In the meeting where the global examples regarding governance principles, respective bylaws, laws, and tax implementations were shared and experiences were stated, notable names like Naseer Alshaali, Dubai International Finance Center former President, and Christos Papadopoulos, Standard Chartered Bank Regional CEO, in addition to KPMG EMA Region financial services experts, exchanged their opinions.
