SIF Construction Equipments Ankara Regional Directorate Building Inauguration
SIF Construction Equipments, Turkish business partner of JCB, which has undersigned countless worldwide R&D works in terms of sustainable environment and climate change, laid the foundations of the green certificated Ankara Regional Directorate building that will be constructed in OSTİM. The groundbreaking ceremony where, in addition to JCB President Sir Anthony Bamford, who came to Ankara within the framework of his Turkey visit, and the JCB representatives; Industry General Manager Süfyan Emiroğlu, STFA Investment Holding and Işıklar Holding top level executives and SIF Construction Equipments General Manager Cüneyt Divriş were present; was held through the coordination of Encore on 17 June 2012, Tuesday. SIF Construction Equipments Ankara Regional Directorate building, whose architectural design was conducted by Akün Mimarlık, and which will be JCB’s first LEED® Gold certificated distributor facility in the world, was put into service as of 2013. During the period that lasted from the groundbreaking ceremony of the building until its inauguration, the media communication works were executed by Encore. The Regional Directorate building constructed by SIF Construction Equipments in the İvedik Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara was inaugurated through the official ceremony held on 23 September 2013. In the ceremony, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor İ. Melih Gökçek, JCB President Sir Anthony Bamford, JCB CEO Deputy Graeme McDonald,STFA Investment Holding and Işıklar Holding top level executives and SIF Construction Equipments General Manager Cüneyt Divriş were present. SIF Construction Equipments Ankara Regional Directorate building, whose Architectural design was conducted by Akün Mimarlık, is SIF Construction JCB’s first LEED® Gold certificated facility and at the same time, it is the first green building in the sector in Turkey. We carried out all the communication works of the inauguration successfully. The issue took place widely in the sectoral and national media.
